Math for Enterprising Minds
Approximately 80 hours of instruction can be completed over 12 months. Certification is based upon passing two tests.

Understanding business transactions, techniques, and methodologies are essential skills for all employees in the wholesale, distribution, and retail trades. This course provides an essential understanding of the fundamental business operations and transactions that are part of the dynamics of selling, purchasing, markups, discounts, and inventories. In other words, it provides a grasp of the core operations required for commerce. Concrete examples from the Millwork Industry are used in the forms, samples, and exercises to make it
easier to apply the concepts.

This newly revised course provides an overview of mathematics used in Millwork business practices for sales and distribution. The foundational knowledge of transactions should be required for anyone employed in the Millwork Industry, but is especially helpful for sales and sales support staff.
