Mouldings and Trim
Approximately 10 hours of instruction can be completed over three months. Passing of one exam is required to receive an electronic certificate of completion.

Understanding types of mouldings and trim are important to their proper selection, application, and installation. This module provides an overview of mouldings and trim. It provides a historical perspective of the moulding industry along with current trends, how mouldings are created, standard shapesand sizes, the materials used,and issues in the manufacture, distribution, and installation of mouldings and trim.

These shorter modules include sections from the Millwork Home Study Course. They are designed for those who want to focus on a subset of the material or who find it difficult to commit to several months of study for the complete Millwork course.

While 3 months are provided, each of the Millwork Series modules can easily be completed within 10 to 15 hours of study-at a two day seminar or within just one weekend! Each module comes complete with a soft cover book containing one or two chapters from Millwork Principles and Practices, a lesson study quide, and a CD.The CD contains an introductory video clip, interactive presentations, a glossary for the lesson, crossword puzzle, and a computer graded practice quiz. An online exam is provided to receive a certificate of completion.
